Terms of Service

YouKlip is a podcast clip discovery tool that monitors YouTube channels you follow, detects topics you care about, and generates timestamped clips of relevant moments. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

To use most features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

We authenticate via third-party providers (e.g., Google). Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms.

YouKlip offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier at $9 per month (USD), billed via Stripe. Pro unlocks features such as expanded topic limits, keyword alerts, and back-catalog scans. Feature limits and pricing may change; we will give reasonable notice for material changes.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain Pro access until then.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right, including copyright and privacy rights.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service other than through features we provide.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its output in bulk without written permission.
• Attempt to disrupt the Service, bypass rate limits, or probe for vulnerabilities without authorization.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.

YouKlip surfaces clips from YouTube videos that remain the property of their original creators and rights holders. We do not claim ownership of third-party video content. Playback is streamed from YouTube; their terms apply to that playback.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them without obligation.

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and curated content, is owned by YouKlip and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

If you believe content on YouKlip infringes your copyright, contact us at support@youklip.com with (a) a description of the work, (b) the URL of the infringing material, (c) your contact info, and (d) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized. We will respond to valid notices promptly.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT CLIP DETECTION WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOUKLIP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
