What the AI does — and doesn't

The summaries and titles on YouKlip are generated by AI from the podcast’s own words. A clip reflects what the speaker said— it is not YouKlip’s opinion, endorsement, or fact-check. When a summary describes a claim, read it as “the speaker said this,” not “this is established fact.”

Accuracy and limits

We aim to be accurate, but AI and automated transcripts have real limits you should know about:

  • Transcripts are auto-generated and can contain transcription errors, especially with names, numbers, and technical terms.
  • Timestamps are sharpened but may be off by a few seconds.
  • An AI summary can miss nuance, sarcasm, or context from the surrounding conversation.

For anything that matters — especially health, medical, legal, financial, or political claims — watch the clip and check the original source before relying on it.

If a summary misrepresents what was actually said, tell us. Email support@youklip.com and we’ll review it and correct or remove the clip.

Common questions

Do you edit or alter the podcasts?▾
No. YouKlip never changes the audio or video. A clip is a pointer to an exact start and end time in the original episode — you are watching the real thing, cued to the moment.
Are the summaries fact-checked?▾
No. Summaries are generated by AI from the episode's own transcript. They describe what a speaker said — not whether it is true. Treat a summary as a paraphrase of the speaker, not an endorsement or a verified fact.
Why don't you link out to YouTube?▾
Clips play in-page, cued to the exact timestamp, so you don't lose the moment scrubbing a three-hour video. The original source is always one step away.
How current are the clips?▾
YouKlip checks the channels you follow for new episodes regularly and usually has clips ready within hours of an episode going up.
Found an inaccurate summary?▾
Email support@youklip.com and we will review it. If a summary misrepresents what was said, we will correct or remove it.
